Build a Mobile App for Your Shopify Store

Appziot is a mobile app builder for Shopify merchants. You connect the store you already run, customize a shopping app in a dashboard, and get it ready for iOS and Android. You do not write the app from scratch.

It is meant for merchants who want a dedicated app for customers who already know the brand. If the store is still finding its first customers, the website is usually the better place to spend time. That decision is covered in Do Shopify stores need a mobile app?.

Who it is for

You already have a Shopify store. Products, collections, discounts, and shipping live there. You want customers to have a branded app on their phone, without hiring an iOS and Android team to rebuild the catalog.

If you need a completely different product than a shopping app, or a native feature the editor cannot express, a builder will get in the way. A custom app is the honest alternative in that case.

How it works

Install Appziot from the Shopify App Store and connect the store customers should shop from. Shopify stays the source of truth for products, collections, inventory, and orders. The app reads that data. You are not maintaining a second catalog.

In the dashboard you set branding, themes, navigation, and screen layouts. Widgets cover things like product grids, carousels, search, banners, cart, and checkout. You can reorder blocks and preview the layout. Starter includes a core set of widgets. Growth adds more layout options.

Checkout stays on Shopify, so the discounts, shipping, and taxes you already configured still apply. After the first version is approved, many content and layout changes can go live from the dashboard without a new App Store or Play Store listing. The first publish, and some larger changes, still go through Apple and Google.

Push notifications

Push starts on Starter. You write the message, choose when it sends, and can open a product, a collection, or the cart. Growth adds rich push. Lite does not include push. Push only reaches people who installed the app and allowed notifications.

It is a useful reminder channel. It is not a promise that sales will rise. When to send, and when to stop, is in Shopify push notifications.

Integrations and app management

Day-to-day management happens in the Appziot dashboard and in Shopify admin. Catalog and order changes stay in Shopify. Branding, layouts, and push are edited in Appziot.

Appziot does not replace every app on your store. Reviews (Yotpo), size charts (Kiwi), and customer login through Shopify can sit alongside it if you already use them. See integrations before you assume a specific Shopify app will appear inside the mobile app.

Publishing

You need your own Apple Developer Program account ($99 USD per year) and a Google Play developer account (one-time $25 USD). Those fees are billed by Apple and Google. Appziot helps you prepare the listing. Apple and Google still review it. We do not control approval.

Many merchants can get the app ready in the builder in about a day: connect the store, set branding and layouts, and prepare listing materials. Going live still depends on store review. A practical checklist is in the App Store and Play Store submission guide.

Pricing and the free trial

Lite is $29 per month or $290 per year. Starter is $99 per month or $990 per year. Growth is $199 per month or $1,990 per year. Annual billing skips two months. All three plans include a 30-day free trial. Billing runs through Shopify. You can switch plans or cancel in Shopify billing.

Lite is the lowest-cost plan: a branded iOS and Android app, Shopify product and inventory sync, and analytics, without push. Starter is the launch plan: push, core widgets, and analytics. Growth is for merchants who want more widgets, rich push, priority support, and the option to remove Appziot branding. The live breakdown is on the pricing page. How that compares with other ways to pay for an app is in what a Shopify mobile app costs.

How to get started

  • Install Appziot on the Shopify store you actually sell from.
  • Build the home screen and point collections at live Shopify collections.
  • Check product, cart, and checkout before you spend time on store screenshots.
  • Turn on push after the shopping flow is stable.
  • Submit with your Apple and Google developer accounts when the build is ready.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create a mobile app from my Shopify store?

Yes. Appziot connects to an existing Shopify store and gives you a dashboard to customize a shopping app for iOS and Android. Products, collections, inventory, and orders stay in Shopify.

Do I need developers to create a Shopify mobile app?

Not for a standard shopping app. You do not write Swift or Kotlin in Appziot. You still need Apple and Google developer accounts to publish, and anything the editor cannot express may still need custom development.

Can a Shopify mobile app send push notifications?

Yes. Appziot can send push to people who installed the app and allowed notifications. Push starts on Starter. Growth adds rich push. Lite does not include push. You choose the message, the timing, and whether it opens a product, a collection, or the cart.

How long does it take to launch a Shopify mobile app?

Getting the app ready in the builder can be about a day for a straightforward store. Apple and Google review is separate, and Appziot does not control approval. Do not plan a campaign for the same day you submit.
